RAHVAI Grant Applications Are Now Open

RAHVAI Grant Applications Are Now Open.

If you're a small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur in Africa and you've been waiting for a funding opportunity that actually speaks to your reality, this one is worth your full attention.

Rehabilitation and Hope for the Vulnerable in Africa Initiative — better known as RAHVAI — has opened applications for its Entrepreneurship Empowerment Grant, offering ₦500,000 in funding support to selected winners across Africa.

Who Is RAHVAI?

RAHVAI (Rehabilitation and Hope for the Vulnerable in Africa Initiative) is the outreach and humanitarian arm of His Presence Chapel Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit church headquartered in Cypress, Texas, USA.  (RAHVAI) Their mandate is to give hope to the poorest of the poor and lift the marginalized and downtrodden out of poverty in Africa — from food relief and vocational training to clean water and emergency support.

The entrepreneurship grant is one of the ways RAHVAI backs that mission with real money.

Who Is This Grant For?

This grant is for African entrepreneurs — whether you already have a running business or you're at the idea stage and ready to build. The grant is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who present a clear and concise business plan not exceeding ten pages.

If you are a small business owner struggling to access capital, a young entrepreneur with a solid idea but no funding, or someone who has a business plan sitting in a drawer waiting for its moment — RAHVAI is calling for exactly you.

Why Should You Apply?

Three reasons:

Real money, no strings attached. ₦500,000 is not a token amount. For a small business in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa, that kind of capital can change the trajectory of an entire venture — new equipment, inventory, marketing, or operations.

Mentorship and visibility. The RAHVAI grant is part of RAHVAI's mission to empower vulnerable communities across Africa through economic inclusion and capacity building.

Finalists and winners gain visibility through RAHVAI's network and platforms — meaning it's not just money, it's exposure.

The process builds you. Preparing a business plan, recording a pitch video, and writing a statement of commitment forces you to get clarity on your own business. Even if you don't win, you come out sharper.

Here is the full checklist from the flyer:

✅ Must be 18 years or older

✅ A clear business plan (maximum 10 pages)

APPLY FOR THE GGAIF INCLUSIVE AFRIKA BOOTCAMP 2.0

Africa Is Calling Agripreneurs. Will You Answer?

The GGAIF Inclusive Afrika Bootcamp 2.0 is open — and this might be the most important programme for young African agricultural innovators in 2026.

If you are a young African with a passion for agriculture, innovation, or food systems — and you have been waiting for a programme that actually prepares you for the real world — the Inclusive Afrika Bootcamp 2.0 was built for you.

The Green Growth Agribusiness Innovation Foundation (GGAIF) has officially opened applications for its flagship Inclusive Afrika (I.A) Bootcamp 2.0, a hands-on agribusiness accelerator designed to equip the next generation of African food system leaders with the skills, networks, and mindset to create real, scalable impact.

This is not just another training programme. GGAIF describes it as a full growth ecosystem — combining expert mentorship, peer collaboration, and a practical curriculum designed for today's rapidly evolving agricultural sector.

Who Is This For?

This bootcamp is tailored for young Africans who are — or want to be — active in the agrifood space. Aspiring agripreneurs, agricultural innovators, students in food and farming sciences, digital agriculture enthusiasts, and anyone building within the food value chain will find this programme directly relevant to their journey.

Women are especially encouraged to apply. GGAIF has made gender inclusion a deliberate priority, reflecting a growing recognition that women are central to food security across the continent.

What Will You Learn?

The bootcamp curriculum covers six high-impact focus areas sitting at the intersection of agriculture and modern innovation: agribusiness development and finance, digital agriculture and artificial intelligence, crop production, livestock production, agro-processing and value addition, and climate-smart agriculture.

The integration of AI into the curriculum is a standout feature — a clear signal that GGAIF understands the future of African farming is not just about land, but about leveraging technology to build solutions that are locally relevant and globally competitive.

What You Stand to Gain

Selected participants will receive hands-on training in AI-driven agricultural innovation, mentorship from experienced industry professionals, deep networking with like-minded young Africans in the agrifood space, and the opportunity to develop and pitch scalable solutions to real agricultural challenges.

Why This Matters

Africa's agricultural sector is one of the most critical — and most underdeveloped — economic levers on the continent. Youth unemployment, food insecurity, and climate volatility are converging challenges that demand a new breed of problem-solvers. The I.A Bootcamp 2.0 exists to produce exactly that. The agripreneurs who understand both the soil and the software will lead. If that is you, this is your signal.

Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship 2026

Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship 2026: Everything You Need to Know Before You Apply

If you are an entrepreneur building something that matters — a venture with real social impact — this is one opportunity you cannot afford to scroll past.

The Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship for Impact Entrepreneurs 2026 is now open for applications, and the deadline is June 28, 2026. Here is everything you need to know.

What Is the Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship?

The Watson Institute Flagship Fellowship is a 16-week fully funded program for impact-focused entrepreneurs seeking to elevate their ventures.  It is not a lecture series or a certificate course, it is a full-scale entrepreneurial acceleration experience designed to take your venture to the next level.

The program provides leadership training, business development support, mentorship, and global networking opportunities to help founders scale their ventures. It combines immersive learning, workshops, and a final pitch showcase to accelerate sustainable impact.

Who Is This Fellowship For?

This is not for everyone — and that is by design. The Flagship Fellowship seeks exceptional entrepreneurs and community leaders who have reached the Problem-Solution or Product-Market Fit stage with their ventures, demonstrate a proven history of impact and leadership within their communities, have successfully raised funding through grants, investments, donations, or other means, and may lead a team of up to ten full-time team members.  (Watson Institute)

In short, you need to already be doing the work — with traction to prove it. This Fellowship is open to applicants from all locations  (Watson Institute) , which means entrepreneurs from Nigeria and across Africa are fully eligible to apply.

Given the programme's focus on social impact, this is particularly relevant for entrepreneurs running ventures in areas like education, health, financial inclusion, agriculture, or community development.

What Will You Get?

1. A Fully Funded Experience

Watson Institute covers the cost of accommodations, programme-related transportation, and most meals.

You invest your time and commitment, they invest in the rest.

2. An In-Person Immersive in Boulder, Colorado

The programme begins with a 2-week in-person Immersive in Boulder, Colorado, followed by virtual sessions. This is where you meet your cohort face to face, build community, and dive into the core programme.

3. Weekly Workshops and Training

Weekly commitments range from 6 to 15 hours, covering modules like Foundations, Funding, and Team Management.

These are not generic business lessons — they are built for entrepreneurs already in the arena.

4. Mentorship and a Global Network

The programme offers mentorship, a global network, and a Summit for pitching to leaders.   The people you meet here could become your future investors, collaborators, and champions.

5. Basecamp Leadership Experience

Some Fellows will be asked to design and lead a 1–3 day Basecamp — an interactive, community-focused workshop that strengthens their leadership skills, expands their network, and provides valuable feedback. Fellows receive training, resources, and a stipend to plan and execute an impactful event that supports rising entrepreneurs and changemakers in their community.

6. A Pitch Summit

At the close of the programme, Fellows present their ventures at a virtual summit to investors and mentors, giving you a real platform to showcase your growth and attract support.

The Track Record Speaks for Itself

This is not a new programme with untested promises. Alumni of Watson Institute's Fellowships have raised over $190 million, created over 2,300 paid jobs, and impacted over 11 million people around the world through initiatives they have helped lead.

One 2024 Flagship Fellow, Madeline, was listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Education — and she came through this same programme.

How Competitive Is It?

Fellowships powered by Watson Institute receive a high volume of applications each year and have a 2–8% acceptance rate.  (Watson Institute) That means you need to apply strong — with a clear venture story, proven impact, and a compelling vision for growth.

How to Apply

The process is straightforward but selective:

Candidates complete the online application in approximately 30 minutes. Submit by the priority deadline of June 28, 2026, for early consideration. The Admissions Committee evaluates applications to identify innovative entrepreneurs with scalable ventures and strong potential for impact. Early applicants receive priority consideration. Selected candidates will be invited to a 20-minute Zoom interview. Final decisions will be announced by July 9, 2026, and the programme begins on August 11, 2026.
