What Is It?
The Startup Innovation Challenge 2026 is an online competition for startups, SMEs, and tech innovators across Nigeria, offering over ₦100 million in cash, AWS credits, and mentorship.

Who Is It For?
Applicants must be Nigerians, other Africans, or non-Africans building solutions for the African market. Your solution must be tech-enabled and you must have at least a working prototype or MVP, including a functional website. There is no age restriction, and both individuals and teams are welcome to apply.
The challenge focuses on EduTech, HealthTech, FinTech, AgroTech, Web3/Blockchain, E-commerce, SaaS, Logistics/Transportation, Real Estate, and other emerging tech sectors.
What Will You Win?
The prize structure is equity-free. Here's how it breaks down:
-1st Prize: ₦10 million in total value — ₦5 million cash + ₦4 million in AWS credits + ₦1 million in business mentorship
-2nd Prize: ₦8 million in total value — ₦3 million cash + ₦4 million in AWS credits + ₦1 million in mentorship
-3rd Prize: ₦7 million in total value — ₦2 million cash + ₦4 million in AWS credits + ₦1 million in mentorship
-10 Runner-Ups: ₦200,000 cash + ₦1.5 million in AWS credits each
All selected participants: ₦500,000 worth of AWS credits
Beyond the cash, participants receive access to a free AWS-powered environment through Transnet Cloud to build, test, and scale their solutions during the challenge.
