Are You the Next Global Voice for Climate Action? Apply for the WeAreTELL Global Voices Program
If you are a young storyteller, creator, journalist, filmmaker, designer, or digital voice with something to say about the world's climate crisis — this one is for you.
WeAreTELL, described as the world's largest global climate and environmental storytelling movement, has opened applications for its Global Voices Program, and the deadline is 10th June 2026.
What Is WeAreTELL?
WeAreTELL is a global climate storytelling initiative created by Creation Flick, dedicated to amplifying voices from communities living at the frontlines of the climate crisis — from melting glaciers to parched farmlands, from rising seas to disappearing forests.
Their work is not just about reporting. They sit at the intersection of media, science, policy, indigenous knowledge, and human stories — bridging the gap between raw data and lived experience, and translating the abstract language of climate change into deeply human narratives that move hearts, inspire action, and foster understanding across generations and borders.
What Is the Global Voices Program?
The Global Voices Circle was created for one purpose: to make sure the world hears the stories it has ignored for far too long — from the Amazon and Andes to Nairobi's informal settlements, from island nations losing land to farmers facing failed harvests. WeAreTELL is building a living archive of humanity's climate reality, told by those who live it, not by those who observe it from afar.
In short, this program brings together a community of young creatives to use their platforms, skills, and voices to drive climate awareness and inspire action through storytelling.
Who Is This For?
This program is open to:
-Storytellers and writers
-Journalists and bloggers
-Filmmakers and videographers
-Designers and visual artists
-Digital content creators and social media voices
If you are passionate about the environment, climate justice, or community resilience — and you have a way of telling stories — this program wants to hear from you.
Why Should You Apply?
WeAreTELL is building a generation of storytellers who see themselves not as observers, but as architects of the planet's future narrative — storytellers who carry both the memory of what has been lost and the imagination of what can still be saved, standing at the intersection of culture, truth, resilience, and justice and using their voices as instruments of change.
For young Nigerians especially, this is a chance to put African stories on the global map — not as victims of climate change, but as voices of solutions, resilience, and action. WeAreTELL's mission is deeply aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, using strategic storytelling to advance equitable climate solutions and elevate marginalized voices.
This is your chance to join a global movement, build your portfolio, and be part of a network of storytellers making real impact.
