Lagos Business School Young Talents Programme 2026 — Applications Now Open for Young Nigerians
If you are a high-achieving Nigerian graduate looking to fast-track your career, build your leadership capacity, and connect with some of Nigeria's brightest minds — this one is for you.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Lagos Business School Young Talents Programme (YTP), a highly selective talent development initiative designed to identify, develop, and connect outstanding young graduates across Nigeria.
What Is the Young Talents Programme?
The YTP brings together high-potential individuals for an intensive two-day, in-person learning and leadership experience focused on preparing participants for life and career opportunities beyond academia. The programme challenges participants to think critically, collaborate in teams, develop capstone projects, and present innovative solutions to real-world problems.
It is also a pathway into the LBS Management Scholarship Academy, giving participants access to broader academic and professional opportunities. The training is aimed at preparing participants not only for corporate careers but also for future doctoral and research opportunities.
Who Is It For?
To qualify, candidates must hold a First Class or Second Class Upper degree or its equivalent, be below 30 years old at the time of application, and may have completed or currently be pursuing a master's degree (optional).
Previous participants of the Young Talents Programme are not eligible to apply again.
What Will You Gain?
-Leadership & Business Training — intensive sessions on leadership, entrepreneurship, productivity, and business strategy facilitated by experienced professionals and academics
-Mentorship — faculty-led and professional mentorship that continues after the programme through structured team-based mentoring lasting approximately six months
-Networking — the opportunity to connect with top professionals, business leaders, and other talented graduates from across Nigeria
-Talent Pipeline — YTP serves as a gateway for identifying exceptional young talent for advanced academic opportunities, research pathways, and recruitment by partner organisations and sponsors
How Competitive Is It?
Very. Only about 50 participants are selected annually from a large national applicant pool. If you have the grades and the drive, now is the time to put yourself forward.
