What Is the AI, Ethics and Climate Governance Fellowship 2026?
It is an eight-week, fully online programme for African researchers, practitioners, advocates and policy thinkers working where AI, climate change, ethics and governance meet.
About 25 fellows will be selected from across Africa. They will examine how AI is being used in climate modelling, agriculture, energy, early-warning systems and carbon measurement. They will also look at the ethical and governance questions this raises, including data governance, algorithmic bias, accountability, consent and unequal access to technology.
The goal is to build African-grounded approaches to governing technologies that will shape the continent's climate future.
