RAHVAI Grant Applications Are Now Open.
If you're a small business owner or aspiring entrepreneur in Africa and you've been waiting for a funding opportunity that actually speaks to your reality, this one is worth your full attention.
Rehabilitation and Hope for the Vulnerable in Africa Initiative — better known as RAHVAI — has opened applications for its Entrepreneurship Empowerment Grant, offering ₦500,000 in funding support to selected winners across Africa.
Who Is RAHVAI?
RAHVAI (Rehabilitation and Hope for the Vulnerable in Africa Initiative) is the outreach and humanitarian arm of His Presence Chapel Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit church headquartered in Cypress, Texas, USA. (RAHVAI) Their mandate is to give hope to the poorest of the poor and lift the marginalized and downtrodden out of poverty in Africa — from food relief and vocational training to clean water and emergency support.
The entrepreneurship grant is one of the ways RAHVAI backs that mission with real money.
Who Is This Grant For?
This grant is for African entrepreneurs — whether you already have a running business or you're at the idea stage and ready to build. The grant is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who present a clear and concise business plan not exceeding ten pages.
If you are a small business owner struggling to access capital, a young entrepreneur with a solid idea but no funding, or someone who has a business plan sitting in a drawer waiting for its moment — RAHVAI is calling for exactly you.
Why Should You Apply?
Three reasons:
Real money, no strings attached. ₦500,000 is not a token amount. For a small business in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa, that kind of capital can change the trajectory of an entire venture — new equipment, inventory, marketing, or operations.
Mentorship and visibility. The RAHVAI grant is part of RAHVAI's mission to empower vulnerable communities across Africa through economic inclusion and capacity building.
Finalists and winners gain visibility through RAHVAI's network and platforms — meaning it's not just money, it's exposure.
The process builds you. Preparing a business plan, recording a pitch video, and writing a statement of commitment forces you to get clarity on your own business. Even if you don't win, you come out sharper.
