Are you a young woman with a disability or a disability inclusion advocate living in the FCT? Are you ready to take your place in leadership, governance, and community decision-making?
The Advocacy for Women with Disabilities Initiative (AWWDI), with the generous support of the African Women's Development Fund, invites YOU to apply for our Inclusive Leadership and Decision-Making Empowerment Programme.
This is a 6-month mentorship journey designed to build your confidence, sharpen your advocacy skills, and connect you with experienced female leaders.
👩🏾🦽 WHO CAN APPLY?
Women and young women aged 18–45 years.
Must be a woman with a disability OR a young woman advocating for disability inclusion.
Must reside in any of the six Area Councils of the FCT.
Must have a passion for community development and leadership.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN:
Monthly mentorship sessions with trained leaders.
Training in decision-making, communication, and advocacy.
Networking opportunities and peer learning.
Certificate of Participation from AWWDI and AWDF.
IS IT FREE?
YES! The programme is completely free. To ensure there are no barriers for women with disabilities, we will even provide a stipend to cover data usage for online sessions!

Submit a simple Expression of Interest (EOI) containing:
Who you are (Name, Age, Address, Phone, Email).
Why you want to join the programme.
Your leadership interest.
(Optional) Brief information about your disability.
