Call for proposals
Resourcing Resilience – Investing in Civil Society Leadership to End Violence against Women and Girls.
The 2025 Call for Proposals of the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women and Girls (UN Trust Fund) is now OPEN
Civil society organizations on the frontlines of ending violence against women and girls are facing intensive pressure: shrinking civil space, rising opposition and widening funding gaps. At the same time, demand for life-saving services and prevention of violence against women and girls (VAWG) is greater than ever.
This Call for Proposals responds to the urgent need for long-term, flexible support to ensure feminist organizations can stay resilient and continue leading progress for all women and girls.
The UN Trust Fund is seeking proposals in English, French and Spanish from civil society initiatives to end violence against women and girls, offering four-year grants of up to US $800,000.
The Call for Proposals document is available in six UN official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
The UN Trust Fund welcomes proposals that strengthen the resilience of civil society organizations and that address violence against structurally marginalized women and girls – contributing to one or more of these outcome areas:
Improving access for women and girls to essential, specialist, safe, adequate and quality multisectoral services Improving prevention of violence against women and girls through changes in behaviours, practices and attitudes.
Increasing effectiveness of legislation, policies, national action plans and accountability systems to prevent and end VAW/G.
The Call is open from 18 September 2025 to 19 November 2025 (2:00 PM – New York Time – EST). All applications need to be submitted in the Grants Management sytem.
