About the TiE Women Program

The TiE Women Program is a global initiative designed for women founders to showcase their innovative business ideas on a global stage. The vision of TiE Women is to embrace, engage, and empower women entrepreneurs across the globe — irrespective of the size of the enterprise, origin, standing, or background. 

The programme is built on six pillars: Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space, and Community. 

This is not just a pitch competition. It is a full entrepreneurial journey — from mentoring at the chapter level, to regional finals, to a grand global finale at the TiE Global Summit 2026, where the top women entrepreneurs pitch to a panel of global investors for the $50,000 grant.

What You Stand to Gain

Selected participants receive equity-free cash prizes of up to $50,000, mentoring by successful entrepreneurs, access to investors from around the world, networking opportunities with global participants and TiE members, and a global platform to showcase their startup. 

The 2026 Programme Timeline runs as follows:

-Applications Open: 8th March 2026

-Applications Close: 25th June 2026

-Chapter Mentoring & Regional Finals: 16th June – 15th August 2026

-Global Knowledge Series (for winners & runners-up): 16th August – 15th September 2026

-Semi-Finals (USA & Asia): 24th September – 7th October 2026

-Grand Finale at TiE Global Summit: December 2026

Who Should Apply — Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must be from female-founded or co-founded startups only, with the pitch opportunity provided to the female founder or co-founder. Female co-founder(s) must hold a minimum of 33% equity in the company. Companies must have been in business for less than 7 years, registered on or after January 1, 2019. Preference is given to startups actively raising funds, and idea-stage startups do not qualify. 

Country/Region Eligibility: This opportunity is open to women entrepreneurs across the globe. Applications are accepted through TiE chapters worldwide.

In summary, you should apply if:

-You are a woman founder or co-founder

-You hold at least 33% equity in your business

-Your business was registered after January 1, 2019

-Your startup is beyond the idea stage (you have an MVP or are operational)

-You are actively raising funds or ready to scale

Since its launch, the TiE Women Program has received over 11,000 applications across 62 countries, accelerated 500+ women-led startups, provided chapter-level mentoring to over 1,000 women entrepreneurs, engaged 100+ mentors and experts, and awarded equity-free grants worth $350,000+ to 22 women-led startups.
