The 2026 Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship (EPLF) is now officially open for applications! This exciting opportunity is designed for passionate young Nigerians ready to step into impactful political leadership and drive meaningful change in their communities and country. 

๐ŸŒŸ What Is the EPLF?

The Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship is a non-partisan leadership development programme organized by The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF). It aims to identify, nurture, and prepare young Nigerians for ethical, people-centered leadership roles at local, state, and national levels. The programme equips fellows with the knowledge, tools, and networks they need to thrive in politics and public life.

Programme Timeline & Structure

The 2026 fellowship combines virtual learning, practical civic engagement, and immersive bootcamp experiences over a structured year-long journey:

• Virtual training modules — Leadership, policy, governance, and strategy

• Civic engagement projects — Fellows implement community-impact activities

• Capstone presentations & Bootcamp — Final showcase and community engagement

• Graduation and network integration — Celebrating achievements and joining the alumni community 


๐ŸŽฏ Who Should Apply?

EPLF seeks emerging leaders who:

• Are Nigerian, actively engaged or passionate about mainstream politics.

• Demonstrate leadership, service, and civic responsibility.

• Are typically between 25–35 years old (with some flexibility for strong candidates up to 45).
