World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (YPP) 2027 — Applications Open

The Young Professionals Program is the World Bank Group's flagship leadership development initiative for outstanding early-career talent passionate about global development. It's a fast-track into a career across the World Bank, IFC, and MIGA — combining hands-on project work, global rotations, mentorship from senior leadership, and structured leadership training.

Selected candidates get:

•Three mandatory 8-month rotations — one in your core area of expertise, one cross-institutional, and at least one based in a country office

•Exposure to real development challenges across regions like Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, South Asia, and Latin America

•Tailored coaching, mentorship, and access to WBG's senior leadership

•Excellent spoken and written English (extra languages are a plus)

•Nationality from a World Bank Group member country

•You must NOT currently be an active WBG staff member or independent contractor

•There's no age limit — eligibility is purely experience-based. Candidates apply under one of several streams (Investment, Education, Health, Climate, Agriculture, Digital Transformation, Legal, and more), matched to their background.

Deadline for submission:
