About International Coaching Federation Foundation Scholarship


This scholarship opportunity supports individuals who are committed to equity and impact and are ready to develop as coaches while volunteering their time to support communities through coaching. The ICF Foundation is on a mission to ensure that coaching is made available to underrepresented populations. Additionally, to increase their focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, the ICF Foundation partners with ICF Coaching Education, ICF Professional Coaches, ICF Credentials & Standards, and accredited educational organizations to offer scholarships for individual coaching education opportunities.


Benefits of International Coaching Federation Foundation Scholarship

- Tuition Scholarship (in-kind) to an assigned

- Level-1 (60+ hours) ICF-accredited Coaching Education program. Education will be provided virtually.

- Recipients are responsible for any incidental costs outside of the pre-determined program costs.

- The recipient will be paired with a coaching education program and does not get to choose which program they are matched with.

- This tuition scholarship is in-kind, meaning it cannot be used as a grant and no funds will ever be exchanged.

- Complimentary one-year IF membership.

- Access to a mentoring coach during the Level 1 accredited training program.

- Application fee waived for ACC credential.

International Coaching Federation Foundation Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible to apply, you must:


- Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a professional coaching career.

- Commit to volunteering as a coach in an Ignite Project within one year of receiving your ACC credential, contributing to social impact.

- Be able to complete the application and the coaching program in English.

- Have a reliable computer and internet connection, as the program is entirely virtual.

- Be available to complete your coaching education between January and December 2026.

- Be prepared to apply for your ACC credential no later than December 2027.

Complete and submit the 2026 ICF Foundation Scholarship Application form by June 30, 2025, 5:00 pm (New York).



This form must be completed in English.

Recipients selected as finalists will be required to submit a 2-5-minute video answering a few additional questions for review.


If selected for a scholarship, the applicant will be assigned to a coaching education program and will NOT get to choose their own program.



This scholarship is a tuition scholarship and does not act as a grant to be used individually or to reimburse you for previous coaching education costs.

NASSI rolls out funding opportunities for MSMEs across the 36 states in Nigeria

 The Nigerian Association of Small-Scale Industrialist(NASSI) rolls out funding opportunities for small and medium scale enterprises across the 36 states in Nigeria.




The grant competition sponsored by the SME Scale-Up and Seven-up bottling company aims to support Small and Medium Sized Enterprises(SMEs) in Agro-processing, Manufacturing, Services, Technology, Education, Fashion and creative businesses.

The Director General of NASSI; Engr. Ifeanyi Oputa said during a press briefing that this business grant will foster growth, innovation and small businesses will gain the opportunity to invest in new technologies, products, or services that can enhance their competitiveness and market position. This financial boost enables businesses to be better structured to explore new markets, and implement innovative strategies that can drive long-term growth.
Securing financial resources can often be a pivotal factor in propelling small and medium-sized enterprises towards exponential growth. One potent tool that entrepreneurs should not overlook is the power of grants and due diligence to track existence to unlock their full potential and thrive in competitive markets.

Engr. Oputa further stated that this opportunity will enhance SMEs’ access to markets, promote job creation, economic development, and community impact, incentivizing businesses to contribute positively to society while expanding their reach and influence beyond Nigeria.

Nigeria beauty market

According to a report by Euromonitor International, retail sales of beauty and personal care products in Nigeria surged to the highest level in at least 15 years in 2023 despite economic challenges, 

The global market research firm noted that sales in the formal market rose by 23% to $1.64 billion in 2022 from $1.34 billion in 2021, BusinessDay reports

It said the majority of larger, essential categories saw retail volume growth as bath and shower, oral care, skin care, and colour cosmetics products are viewed to be essential by many conconsumers, particularly females.


A breakdown of the report shows that skin care products contributed most to Nigeria’s beauty and personal care market with $382.7 million. Hair care recorded $270 million; deodorant, $242.1 million; and bath and shower, $229.4 million.


Access Bank’s $100 million loan for female entrepreneurs in Nigeria

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Access Bank secured a $100 million facility from a global consortium to empower women-owned businesses in Nigeria.


The consortium is led by Germany’s DEG and includes FinDev Canada, ILX Netherlands, and DFI OeEB in Austria.


The group also includes FinDev Canada, ILX Netherlands, and DFI OeEB in Austria, indicating a strategic boost for Nigeria's MSME industry and women-led businesses.


The move is aimed at boosting women's enterprises in Nigeria, creating employment and reducing inequality.

The Umi Mentorship Program is one of the flagship products at Umi. It helps new mothers and mums of children below 3 years old become better versions of themselves as mothers, wives, partners and professionals by tapping into the wealth of knowledge, experiences and network of mothers who have walked this path of motherhood and have excelled at it.


They started the mentorship program in June 2023 for mothers interested in having successful careers without losing on the home front and have paired mothers from 12 African countries (Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. In Nigeria, South Africa and the United Kingdom) with experienced mentors who help them in their motherhood and professional journey and raising well-adjusted kids for a 3-month mentorship experience

Peer-mentorship with 4 other mums in your Umi mini-circle. Consider them your personal board of advisors.

Weekly workshops and reflection sessions focused on important areas of your mental and physical health, business and career, and relationships/family for the 12 weeks of the mentorship program.

The African Young Women Leaders Fellowship Programme offers an interesting 12-month assignment with UNDP at its HQ in New York or in one of its regional or country offices.


The AfYWL Fellowship Programme is a partnership under the framework of the AUC Chairperson’s One Million Next Level Initiative, which aims to provide opportunities for African youth in the key areas of Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Engagement, and mainstream youth and women in key development spaces. This exciting partnership aims to build a new generation of young African women leaders and experts to serve Africa and the world in designing and implementing development programmes in the context of the SDGs and Agenda 2063. The Fellowship Programme will explore different areas of development within the six strategic impact areas of UNDP’s Renewed Strategic Offer in Africa: Natural Resource Governance; Youth and Women’s Employment and Empowerment; Structural Economic Transformation; Sustainable Energy; Climate Change; and Peace and Security.


They are looking for up to 40 talented young African women to join the fourth cohort of this 12-month fellowship programme. As an AfYWL Fellow you will be assigned with a UNDP office under a learning and development programme. You will embark on a journey where you will need to demonstrate agility and adaptability to an environment and an assignment where your skills and potential will be leveraged. Applicants should be ready to accept any location offered in either HQ, Country or Regional office (no hardship locations).


Responsibilities

Key areas of responsibilities may include:

- Collection and analysis of data and research on SDGs and Agenda 2063;

- Experimentation on promising areas of innovation around the six impact areas of UNDP’s Renewed Strategic Offer in Africa;

- Drafting research papers, reports and presentations;

- Participating in internal and external meetings and conferences;

- Supporting the implementation of projects and initiatives on gender, youth, climate change, resilience and security among others;

- Participating in field missions as required;

- Providing support and liaising with government officials and various stakeholders.


Eligibility

- Applicants must have completed Master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, International Relations/Development, Law, Communications, Digitalization or other related development field.

- Maximum cumulative two years (post bachelor/postmaster degree) of relevant and paid working experience in research, analysis and programme/project development, implementation and management.

- Strong working knowledge of English is required.

- Proficiency in at least one additional AU working language (Arabic, English, French, Portuguese or Spanish) is an advantage.

- Female candidates accepted only.

- National of an African Union member state.

- Maximum age of 30 at the date of application.

- Available in 2025/2026 to dedicate 12 months for a fellowship assignment.

- Available late 2025 to relocate to duty station and start the Fellowship assignment.

- Willing to live and work outside country of residence on an assignment which leverages on your skills & potential.

- Understanding of, and interest in, poverty eradication, sustainable structural transformation, the SDGs and Agenda 2063.

- Capacity to gather comprehensive information on complex problems or situations, and ability to evaluate and analyze information accurately in order to identify key issues and solutions.

- Additional expertise and background in digital transformation, strategic partnerships and communications, development intelligence and innovation will also be considered.


Benefits

- Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend to support accommodation and basic living costs at their respective duty station. In addition, paid leave and an earmarked learning budget will be allocated for undertaking relevant learning and development activities.

- The Fellowship programme will cover expenses related to travel and medical insurance for the fellow only. Note that the Fellowship Programme does not cover allowances, or any expenses related to your family members (travel, visa, schooling, health insurance, etc.).

Applications are open for the EY SDG ACCELERATOR FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS 2025. Women entrepreneurs remain underrepresented in the AI and tech sectors and face significant barriers to accessing the financial they need to scale their businesses. Despite these challenges, they are driving sole of the most impactful innovations for social and environmental change.

The EY SDG ACCELERATOR FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS is designed to help close this gap by supporting women-led AI ventures that align with the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs)- fostering solutions that tackle climate change, improve livelihoods, and resilient communities across the Global South. 

The accelerator program will identify, and support 5 AI-driven impact enterprises led by women in Africa, Latin America and South/Southeast Asia over a 6-month period. These impact enterprises must be Leveraging AI for good, using responsible AI practices, to address critical challenges faced across the world today -from climate change, food insecurity, social and economic inequity and beyond.

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative co-founded by the European Union and Implemented by United Nations Development Program (UNDP).



 It's designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional experience by providing fresh graduates with opportunities for career development and skill enhancement. As part of this program, the NJFP has mandated the North-west Talent Management Committee (TMC) to oversee the selection and management of fellows in the North-west region. The TMC has further entrusted Mainstream Lime-Light Ltd. with the responsibility of sourcing eligible graduates from Kebbi State.


To qualify as an NJFP fellow, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Be a Nigerian citizen.

2. Be a fresh graduate (Bachelor's degree or HND) from any discipline, graduated not earlier than 2022.

3. Have at least a second class lower (2.2) for a Bachelor's degree or upper credit (>3.00) for HND certification holders.

4. Be 30years old or younger.

5. Not currently engaged in any employment.

6. Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess a certificate of exemption.

7. Demonstrate interest/commitment in their chosen career field.

8. Show interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria's socio-economic development.

9. Exhibit excellent time management and a professional attitude.

10. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

11. This exercise is for 12 months and the fellow is entitled to receive N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) monthly stipend.

Application for the Youth Action Labs by Citizen Commons International is now open.

The Youth Action Labs is an an intensive
3-5 Day residential capacity development program designed to empower, activate, engage and connect competitively
selected social justice champions working to advance social change through advocacy, media, technology and community engagement and social action.

The program convenes a special co-creating, solutioning sessions of young Nigerians who are actively
interested in lending their voice and representation to improve citizen engagement and participation. YAL targets a
diverse group of student leaders, youth leaders, student activists, journalists, tech enthusiasts, community builders  and change leaders who have the potential to influence their peers and advance participatory democracy and social
change using the power of technology, media and the law.

Application is currently open until 30th May 2025, however
application received before 15th May 2025 will be giving priority considerations.

 Applicants are expected to meet the
following minimum requirements.

1. Must not be more than 35 years old as of June 2025

2. Must have proven record of leadership in the social justice/social impact/social change/community
leadership/activism space – tis can be established with a wide range of experiences and engagements in
community building, social entrepreneurship, community leadership etc.

3. Must demonstrate considerable experience or interest in the chosen SJA/YAL cohort offering.

4. Must be available to travel to Abuja for the 3 Days YAL/SJA Bootcamp – Media for Dev (May 2025), Tech for
Development (June 2025) and Law and Human Rights (July 2025). Travel and accommodation expenses
will be covered by us.

5. Must be appropriated resourced (digital resources – laptop/phone/internet connection) to attend series of
virtual trainings and community engagement sessions for up to 3 months after the bootcamp.
