For 12 weeks, you’ll learn how to start, build, and scale an impact venture. GLOBAL YOUTH DIALOGUE

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), UNFPA and MGCY would like to invite you to apply to attend the ICPD30 Global Youth Dialogue in Cotonou, Benin, on April 4-5. 



Funding is available for several young people globally to participate. 


The Global Youth Dialogue is designed to celebrate young people as partners in development, custodians of the ICPD PoA, and change-makers. 


If you're aged between 14 and 35 and actively involved in community or civic initiatives focusing on SRHR, Gender/GBV, Migration, Youth Peace and Security, Climate Action, Economic empowerment, and innovation, we want to hear from you. Call For Applications: Africa Business Concept Challenge 2024 ($5,000 prize)

GBSN is pleased to present the 4th annual Africa Business Concept Challenge (ABCC), a virtual business concept competition for African undergraduate and graduate students. The competition challenges student teams to develop a viable business concept that addresses a locally-relevant challenge or problem related to Agenda 2063, and inclusive and sustainable development.



The Africa Business Concept Challenge intends to assist young people from the African continent who have an entrepreneurial orientation, a desire to serve their community, and demonstrate the values outlined below. With a focus on promoting responsible business, the competition identifies high potential young people for mentorship and investment.

There is a $5,000 prize for the first-place winner.

Societal Impact: The Challenge offers a chance to make an impact on local local community problems.

Networking: Opportunities with student teams from across the globe, as well as experienced entrepreneurs and industry professionals.

Eligibility


Open to all institutions of learning, training and development on the African continent.

Student teams must consist of two to five members, where at least two must be enrolled at an African institution at the time of the competition. Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged.

Each participating team must have a mentor to work with. Mentors will help guide teams and enrich the learning experience. The ABCC aims to build a community platform for learning–not just a competition but an opportunity for mutual support.

GBSN Membership is not required to participate. There is no charge to participate in the competition.

A business solution

A viable business concept

Implementation and impact of business solution

International Summer University WU Summer Scholarships

WU offers scholarships for the summer program ISUWU. Undergraduate and graduate students can apply for these scholarships during the application process, if they meet the respective criteria.


The ISUWU scholarship is intended to support the participation of students from selected countries. For the ISUWU 2024, WU provides a maximum of ten scholarship positions.


The ISUWU program fee will be waived for students selected for an ISUWU scholarship. In addition, selected students will receive a travel and accommodation grant of EUR 1,000 upon their arrival in Vienna.

You can apply for the ISUWU scholarship during the regular ISUWU application period in our online application system.


To apply for a scholarship, please upload the following documents:


Application letter: please explain why you are particularly deserving of an ISUWU scholarship, how the scholarship can contribute to your academic success and why it is important for your studies (1 page max.)

Confirmation of enrollment in business administration or related fields
